Agency Profile
Background
KEJORA is a regional development agency set up under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. The KEJORA region covers the area of Southeast Johor and the total area is 151,231 hectares for Penerang Peninsular and 149,919 hectares for Central Johor. South East Johor Development Authority or KEJORA was established on 1 June 1972 for the development purpose of these area.
In addition, KEJORA is empowered the Enactment 118 (South East Johor Development Authority Enactment 1972) which provides certain functions and powers to develop Southeast Johor Region (KEJORA).
