WORKSHOP ON PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL GROUP AS WELL AS THE IMPLEMENTING GROUP (MyPerformance)

MARCH 1 – 2, 2023 (WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY)
The performance management workshop of the management and professional group as well as the implementing Group (MyPerformance) was held on 1-2 March 2023, at Dewan KEJORA. The briefing was delivered by the Chief Assistant Secretary, Human Resources Administration Division of KKDW, Encik Muhammad Zuhaili bin Rosli, Assistant Secretary, Encik Mohamed Harriz bin Razali and Assistant Information Technology Officer, Encik Azrali bin Aris from the Ministry of rural and Regional Development (KKDW).
The workshop was also attended by Deputy General Manager (Management), Mrs. Marlina binti Amir, Division Manager/ Unit Head and involved about 53 KEJORA members. MyPerformance will replace the performance evaluation system, namely the Performance Management Module-LNPT HRMIS and this workshop was implemented by the administration and Human Resource Management Division as an initial initiative before the full use of MyPerformance in KEJORA from January 1, 2024.
In her welcoming speech by Puan Marlina binti Amir, she stated that the MyPerformance system will provide added value to all members in an effort to create a dynamic work environment and high integrity among KEJORA members.

MS ISO 9001: 2015 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS) WORKSHOP-INTERNAL AUDITOR

A total of 40 Kejora Internal Auditors attended the MS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (SPK) workshop – Internal Auditors on 26 to 28 February 2023 at Valley Course, The Els Club, Desaru Coast. The workshop was held in collaboration with speakers from AM Grand Management led by Dr Azfar bin Abdullah and Encik Azzali bin Ahmad.
This workshop was held to provide understanding and knowledge, strengthening and improvement of knowledge on MS ISO 9001:2015 – Internal Auditors to each Kejora ISO Internal Auditor.
A huge thank you goes out to all KEJORA’s internal auditors who have successfully completed this course.

BRIEF BRIEFING SESSION AND RAFFLE OF THE HARMONIOUS ANTIDOTE GARDEN SHOP

Today, the Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) through the property division held a brief briefing and voting process for Taman Penawar Harmoni Shops at the main lobby, KEJORA headquarters.
All eligible participants, a total of 45 people, have gone through the shop lot lottery process and all of these names will be submitted to the Johor State Government for screening and approval before the shop lot purchase offer letter is issued by KEJORA.

CLOSED AQUATIC COMPETITION KIDS SWIMMING CLASS PROGRAM KEJORA REGION YEAR 2022 | 25 FEBRUARY 2023

KEJORA through the Social Development and Rural Development Division has implemented a closed aquatic competition for the 2022 KEJORA regional Kids Swimming Class Program at Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sports School in collaboration with the Johor State Education Department and Kota Tinggi District Education Office.
This Program was implemented to assess the ability of participants throughout the Kids Swimming Class 2022 training.
Thank you to all participants and parents for their support and commitment throughout the Kids Swimming Class. Congratulations to all the winners.

PROGRAM BINA INSAN SIRI 1 dan SIRI 2 TAHUN 2022

KEJORA through the Social Development and Rural Development Division has implemented the Bina Insan Series 1 and Series 2 programmes on 16 to 17 February 2023 and 23 to 25 February 2023. The programme was conducted at Grand Paragon JB Hotel and Tadom Hill Resort Selangor.
This Program was implemented to participants among the residents of KEJORA who received assistance from the people’s Welfare Development Scheme (SPKR) of the Ministry of rural and Regional Development (KKDW).
The implementation of this program is intended to provide knowledge related to the implementation of business online. In addition, these participants are given motivation to build self-esteem among participants. Participants were also given indoor and outdoor training to assess their physical and mental capabilities and resilience.

SETTLEMENT WORKSHOP ON THE DIRECTION OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION/ KEJORA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2023

Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) has held a workshop on the direction of implementation of the KEJORA Development Project/Program year 2023 at Hatten Hotel, Melaka Historic City from 29 to 31 January 2023.
The workshop was officiated by the general manager of KEJORA, YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus was also attended by senior management, division managers, Unit Heads and project officers from each division.
In the opening and opening speeches, the General Manager informed that the workshop was aimed at discussing the planning and implementation of each development project/ programme in 2023 to ensure effective implementation and achievement of outstanding performance. For the record, the approved allocation for 2022 amounted to RM37.6 million while RM4.6 million was subject to restrictions which made the amended allocation amounted to RM33.0 million.
He continued, the total number of projects for 2022 was 19 projects covering 16 physical projects and 3 non-physical projects. KEJORA’s expenditure performance up to 31 December 2022 was 97.58% with the latest committed expenditure of RM32.20 million.
For the year 2023, KEJORA management has set a target of 100% of expenditure and hopes that all KEJORA members will take on the duties and responsibilities in realizing this expenditure target.

KEJORA MEMBERS RETIREMENT COUNCIL

Thursday, 2 February 2023-today there was a retirement ceremony for KEJORA members at the main lobby, KEJORA headquarters, Bandar Penawar which was officiated by Deputy General Manager (Management), Pn. Marlina binti Amir was also attended by Kejora senior management, Kejora Management and KEJORA members.
This morning’s meeting was to celebrate the death of Mr. Md Norazman bin Saad and Mr. Sumeri bin Sahari who is a vehicle driver in the Administration & Human Resource Management Division.
Mr. Norazman bin Saad began serving in KEJORA on April 2, 1983 as a general laborer, then was promoted to the rank of vehicle driver on June 2, 1993. Meanwhile, on December 21, 2015, he was promoted to the rank of H14 grade vehicle driver and will retire from compulsory retirement on February 03, 2023 after serving for 40 years.
Encik Sumeri bin Sahari began serving in KEJORA on December 16, 1987 as a general worker, then was promoted to Vehicle Driver on August 1, 2007 and was promoted to Grade H14 vehicle driver on August 1, 2019. He will retire from compulsory retirement on March 20, 2023 after serving 36 years.
In his speech, the Deputy General Manager (Management) representing KEJORA management and KEJORA residents, he expressed his gratitude for the services of retirees and wished for these retirees to be given good and lasting health and continue to provide information to local residents on any activities and developments in KEJORA.

BAZAR KOMUNITI JORAK PANCHOR TAHUN 2023

27 TO 28 JANUARY 2023 | JORAK PANCHOR, MUAR / 7.30 AM TO 11.00 PM
KEJORA through the economic & entrepreneur Unit (euu) held the Jorak Panchor community Bazaar program from 27 to 28 January 2023 in Panchor, Muar, Johor in conjunction with the integrated village Economic Development Project or better known as prospect.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Muar District Officer, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Haji Mustaffa Kamal bin Dato’ Kiyai Haji Shamsudin. In his speech, he expressed the desire that residents in Mukim Jorak Panchor Muar should take the opportunity and space with the existence and development of an education Hub by ensuring that children are given proper education. In addition, he thanked the Ministry of Rural & Regional Development (KKDW) for helping to develop the economy of kampung Mukim Jorak Panchor by approving the prospect programme through KEJORA.
Among the programs / activities carried out during the 2 days include’ Telematch ‘ friendship football matches and batu seremban between agencies and departments in Pagoh including KEJORA against Mukim Jorak Panchor. In the morning, Fun rides, children’s coloring, Aji dam competitions, PUBG competitions, tie & Dye batik briefings and creative tailoring were held.
In addition, also held is a rabbit meat cooking competition where rabbit livestock is a livestock that is cultivated in the Mukim Panchor prospect program. Also held were various sales such as Nasi Lemak Bungkak Bakar, Satay Rabbit, drinks and food as well as various sales from Mukim entrepreneur Jorak Panchor.
Also present at the opening ceremony was Deputy General Manager (Development) KEJORA. Daud bin Abd Rahman, representative of Muar Municipal Council, En. Mohd Hairul Hafiz bin Ismail, representative of gensi and Department in Pagoh area, Muar District headmen, KEJORA Management and villagers.
On the opening night there was also a lucky number draw ceremony which offered prizes in the form of electrical goods and various ancillary prizes
Congratulations to all participants prospect Jorak Panchor. Hopefully, this effort can help entrepreneurs and cooperatives as well as prospective participants of Jorak Panchor in promoting their sales and gain exposure on programs and collaborations that can be made to increase entrepreneur sales.
