On 15th January 2017 Taman Sinar Sedili was officiated by YB Dato ‘Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob, Minister of Rural and Regional Development. During the ceremony, the participants of the Poorest People Housing Program (PPRT) received their house keys and were allowed to live in their respective homes.

The residents of Taman Sinar Sedili are PPRT participants who are placed in groups from the Sedili DUN area and the surrounding area. The appointment of PPRT Taman Sinar Sedili participants was decided through a Focus Group Meeting secretariat by the Kota Tinggi District Office.

The total site area is 138.22 acres and the site area for the construction of 100 PPRT units involves 20 acres of land use while the excess area is proposed for the development of economic and agricultural projects.

The settlement is equipped with public facilities such as surau, open hall, street lights and futsal court. KEJORA also carries out cleaning work and organizes human capital programs for the residents of Taman Sinar Sedili
