The Pineapple Planting Project under the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Premium Market Program (EPP7) has been implemented in the Agriculture Area of Kg. Tuan Seh, Sedili Kecil, Kota Tinggi, Johor with an area of 307.75 acres. The work of providing off-farm infrastructure has been carried out by KEJORA involving the provision of water supply, electricity and farm access.

With the provision of complete farm infrastructure, the management and operation of the farm becomes more efficient and smoother. This too indirectly leads to an increased farm output. As of 31 December 2016, an area of 200 acres had been planted with MD-2 pineapple and the entire area is scheduled to be fully developed in December 2017. The total production is 734.3 metric tons and total income of RM973,190.00 for 2016. The farm production were marketed for both the local market as well as exported abroad.

This MD2 Pineapple Plantation is carried out by Syarikat Ergobumi Sdn Bhd and offers a total of 60 job opportunities.
