GUIDELINE ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SOCIETY’S PROGRESS AND SECURITY COMMITTEE ADMINISTRATION FOR CITIES OF KEJORA 1990
 

1.0
 NAME OF COMMITTEE
This committee shall be named Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Masyarakat Bandar-Bandar Baru KEJORA (Society’s Progress and Security Committee for New Cities of KEJORA) or JKKMB.
2.0 COMMITTEE’S AREA OF MOVEMENT
This committee’s area of movement comprises new cities of KEJORA and neighbouring areas not represented by any committee as such.
3.0 DEFINITION
As stated in this guideline apart from a particular subject or any word of different meaning, hence:
MEMBER has a definition which comprises of any individual who resides and work in cities of KEJORA or its neighbouring area except for an area already established with its own committee, e.g; JKKR for the FELDA settlement, and JKK for villages.

COMMITTEE MEMBER has a definition which comprises of a member appointed as a Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Education Chairman, Bureau of Economy and Entrepreneurship Chairman, Chairman of Security, Bureau of Human Development Chairman, Chairman of Women’s Bureau, Bureau of Youth, Sports and Culture Chairman and also residents’ representatives and Chairpersons of New Bureau established under the committee from time to time.

VICE CHAIRPERSON has a definition which comprises of any member appointed to lead the committee for the city level.

BUREAU has a definition which comprised of bureaus established under the committee.

RESIDENTS’ REPRESENTATIVES has a definition which comprises of any member appointed as a residents’ representative according to the requirements of each city by the Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, and also the Bureau of Chairpersons.

COMMITTEE is defined as the Society’s Progress and Security Committee for Cities of KEJORA.

MANAGEMENT OF KEJORA is defined as those responsible to administer and implement development in the South East Johore Development Authority.
