Administrative Unit
- Administer all department general administration-related matters.
- Manage all functions and meeting programmes relevant to LBJT.
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of LBJT documentation.
- Control and ensure that staffs’ requirements and welfare are maintained and fulfilled.
- Control and preserve all department’s assets and properties.
- Ensure that the number of staff are constantly sufficient to ensure smooth department operation.
- To manage LBJT Bandar Penawar and Bandar Tenggara file system.
Finance Unit
- To control all LBJT expenses.
- To prepare and update all LBJT expenditure records.
- To collect all revenue of LBJT.
Electrical Unit
- Responsible towards project and works which involves electrical and mechanical.
- Responsible towards LBJT administration matters which are associated with relevant technical subjects.
Assessment and Property Tax Unit
- Manage all aspects of property re-evaluation.
- Conduct assessment duties.
- To organise and coordinate objection hearing towards valuation.
- Prepare rate assist contribution claim.
- Conduct property tax claim on proportional clients.
- To manage transfer of title on proportional holds.
Enforcement Unit
- Conduct law enforcement duties which has been allocated under the Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171), Street Drainage and Building Act 1974, Act 133 and By-Laws gazetted in LBJT.
- To eradicate illegal buildings, stalls and unlicensed hawkers.
- To monitor business and industrial activities as well as to ensure that industrial, hawker and trade premises possess license and abide by the licensing terms.
- Accept, investigate and take prompt action on public complaints received.
- Monitor and take compound action towards the public, companies and shops which violate any laws under Act 171, Act 133, and LBJT By-Laws.
- Conduct enforcement patrol by conducting inspection in shops, factories and residential areas to ensure environmental conditions are clean and well-organised.
- Shift, demolish and confiscate any form of obstruction, subject to instructions as well as recording and maintaining the confiscated goods.
- To inspect licensing for installation of bunting, sign/advertisement board.
- To assist and collaborate with units and also other divisions in LBJT in planned / relevant operations according to prescribed laws.
- To assist the Police, and Islamic Religious Department in eradication of crime and amoral behaviour among the residents.
- To conduct spot checks upon receiving complaints and is subjected to instructions received.
