Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Division
The objectives of the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Division are as follows:
- To make KEJORA areas as a regional agricultural production area for the domestic market and exports with a focus on food production;
- Encourage individual and private companies to engage in agricultural development programmes in the KEJORA region commercially;
- Enhancing commercial agricultural project in KEJORA Region.
Background
The Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Division was originally known as the Agriculture, Industrial and Entrepreneurs Division. This division was changed its name to Agriculture and Agro-based Industry after the restructuring of the Agricultural, Industrial and Entrepreneurs Division with effect from 1 November 2011.
In line with the KEJORA Organization restructuring, this division was named as the The Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Division.
