OBJECTIVE
  1. Develop and regulate effective information technology as an input to management in implementing policies and organizing strategies to improve the living standards and socio-economy of residents within the KEJORA region
  2. Form a society that is able to utilize ICT for their wellbeing.
  3. Evaluate and report the progress of the implementation of ICT development projects to the management of KEJORA and the Ministry.

Planning And Coordination.

  1. Evaluate, provide feedback and recommend departmental computing projects according to ICT developments.
  2. Plan, design, develop and coordinate the KEJORA Official Website applications and multimedia applications.
  3. Manage the preparation of project proposal papers related to key application and support systems including finance and human resources.
  4. Monitor application development and system maintenance in collaboration with appointed vendors.
  5. Secretariat of the Computer Technical Committee and the Computer Steering Committee.

System Maintenance and Coordination

  1. Coordinate and maintain the KEJORA Official Website.
  2. Maintain and advise users for systems not developed by KEJORA such as SAGA, SPPII and HRMiS.
  3. Maintain and provide advisory services to the application system in KEJORA.
  4. Coordinate and implement training for system users.

Technical Operations, Networking and Application Development Unit

  1. ICT Network Administrator and Security.
    • Responsible for ensuring the security of networks, systems and ICT equipment is always at a controlled level.
    • Manage and administer all databases.
    • Manage the preparation of project proposal papers related to data centre.
    • Coordinate, administer and maintain email servers.
    • Manage, coordinate and supervise the administration of communication networks (LAN and WAN).
  2. Operations and Technical Assistance.
    • Provide technical assistance in terms of hardware and software – Helpdesk.
    • Coordinate the maintenance of the IT infrastructure of KEJORA (hardware, software and network).
    • Coordinate and manage the procurement and disposal of KEJORA ICT hardware and software.
    • Coordinate internal and external ICT training/ courses/ seminars for KEJORA members.
    • Plan and execute multimedia and audio visual presentations.
    • Perform system and data back-up activities on a scheduled basis.
  3. System Development.
    • Plan the system development in KEJORA.
    • Develop and manage current systems.
    • Ensure the current system is used by KEJORA members.
    • Perform system usage training.
  4. Information Security Management System (ISMS).
    • Plan and implement KEJORA ICT security policy and ISMS ISO/IEC 27001: 2013.
    • Monitor the implementation of ISMS in KEJORA.
    • Implement and coordinate internal audit and SIRIM Audit.
    • Update procedures related to the scope of the ISMS.
    • Review ISMS requirements from time to time.
    • Coordinate ISMS Management Review Meeting (MKSP).
