OPENING CEREMONY OF THE NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION PROGRAM AT THE HIGH CITY DISTRICT LEVEL & KEJORA REGIONAL SPORTS CARNIVAL (KASWIRA) 2022
On October 29, 2022, the opening ceremony of the National Sports Day Celebration at the Kota Tinggi district level & the 2022 KEJORA Regional Sports Carnival (KASWIRA) took place at the Southeast Stadium, Bandar Tenggara, Johor.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Kota Tinggi District Officer, YB Datin Paduka Hajah Hazlina binti Jalil. In his speech, he expressed his pride in the achievement of the Johor contingent which has won the overall champion in SUKMA 2022. In addition, he commended the efforts of the Kota Tinggi & KEJORA District Sports Office who had collaborated in the success of this celebration.
Also present at the event were the Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation, Dato’ Dr Adham bin Baba, ADUN Pasir Raja, YB Puan Rashidah Binti Ismail and other honorary dif.
In conjunction with HSN Kota Tinggi district, several competitions were held including futsal, netball, Aerofitthon, fun run including folk sports.
