KEJORA REGIONAL SPORTS CARNIVAL (KASWIRA) 2022
On 29-30 October 2021, the KEJORA Regional Sports Carnival (KASWIRA) took place in Bandar Tenggara, Johor.
A total of 13 events were contested with the traditional villages of the KEJORA region divided into 4 main zones namely the Pengerang zone, Kota Tinggi zone, Sedili zone & Kluang zone with the participation of nearly 450 athletes including management.
The closing ceremony was officiated by Panti Assemblyman YB Hahasrin bin Hashim representing the Johor State Youth & Sports EXCO. In his speech, he stated that sports can unite all races in the state of Johor. KEJORA today responded to the National Sports Vision 2030 with the concept of ‘from community to community’.
At the same time, Zona Kluang was crowned as the overall champion. While the Pengerang zone has been named the best team.
Also present at the event was the general manager of KEJORA, YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus, KEJORA senior management, Mukim Chiefs and chairman of JPKK Kejora region.
