Morning management led by YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi Bin Mohd Darus visited The Remains of the British fort at Tanjung Pengelih.
This visit is to see for yourself the actual condition of the site that will be developed by the KEJORA as a historical area. This area has been installed by the morning fence to prevent unwanted events from happening.
Looking at the great capacity of women in contributing energy and expertise in the economy as well as their ability to generate income in the field of entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) through KEJORA and INFRA has organized a workshop on Rural Women Entrepreneurship : How to Make your 1st Million.
The workshop was held on 26-28 July 2022, at KSL Hotel & Resort and the opening ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato ‘ Zahari bin Sarip, Chairman of the Agriculture, Agro-Based Industry and Rural Development Committee on 27 July 2022. In attendance, YBrs. Pn Annie Liaw, Deputy Director of training, training sector, INFRA, En Daud bin Abd Rahman, Deputy General Manager (Development) KEJORA and Dato’ Suhaili binti Yosop, Managing Director of DSY Consultant.
A total of 42 women entrepreneurs from the B40, M40, single mothers and women who want to help families find income attended the program and were given guidance with knowledge, systems, mentors and “circles” guided by the millionaires Manual to increase sales to reach the first RM1 million.

The Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) received a visit from the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) on July 28, 2022 (Thursday) at the pineapple plantation of the Kg Tuan Seh agricultural area, Sedili Kecil, Kota Tinggi, Johor.
The visit was attended and led by Mr. Muhamad Zaidi bin Yahaya (KPSU) and also accompanied by Mr. Mohd. Syazlan bin Mohd Hatta (PSUK) and related officials from the land and Regional Development Division of KPLB.
Through the EPP7 project, KPLB has allocated RM4.78 million for the provision of infra and agricultural facilities which include the construction of farm roads, provision of water supply and electricity in the agricultural area covering an area of 307.75 acres.
The purpose of this working visit is to monitor the implementation of the pineapple crop project being undertaken by the company and discuss coordination of the official submission of the project from KPLB to KEJORA in August.

KEJORA has for the first time participated in the Melaka Heritage Cuisine Festival tour from 22 to 24 April 2022 along Jalan Kota, Melaka, the historic city. The opening ceremony of the Melaka Heritage Cuisine Festival was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Salhah Binti Salleh, Melaka State Finance Officer.
Malacca Heritage Cuisine Festival is an annual event of the state of Malacca featuring more than 30 traditional dishes from various ethnic groups to be served to visitors in attendance. The annual Festival was attended by more than 60 stalls from various government agencies, museums in Malaysia and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). KEJORA has introduced KEJORA mentoring entrepreneur products such as Ieja Marketing and Raffe.
In addition, KEJORA also provides 100 samples of dishes every day with the theme “Johor cuisine” including Belangkas Masak Sambal, Asam Pedas, Air Kathira, and Soto.
KEJORA would also like to express its gratitude to Perbadanan Muzim Melaka (PERZIM) for giving KEJORA the opportunity to participate in the Melaka Heritage Festival this time.

Bukit Raja Village Community Centre has organized a Mini carnival & morning day with customers organized by Bukit Raja Village Community Centre (PKD), Pengerang in collaboration with KEJORA & JPKK Kg Bukit Raja. Various agencies involved including JPJ, EPF, PTPTN, Tabung Haji, SSM, Socso, Health Clinic, Kemas kindergarten, Kejora mentoring entrepreneurs and the Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) also enlivened the program.
Such programs are intended to make it easier for the surrounding population to deal with government agencies that are quite far away in the city. All problems of the population can be conveyed directly & effectively. This Program was also graced by the presence of YB Aznan Hj Tamin, Tanjung Surat Assemblyman as the official of this blessed ceremony.
Gotong-Royong Perdana EKSA Series 2 year 2022 towards EKSA certification this morning was inaugurated successfully by YBhg Dato’ Haji Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus, General Manager of KEJORA. This Program is symbolic of KEJORA’s work towards KEJORA EKSA certification audit and held simultaneously involving all zones to beautify the environment outside the office.

KEJORA through the economy & entrepreneur Unit held the Kejora community Bazaar (BKK) & KEJORA Manajemen Usahawan (KSU) program from 23 to 24 July 2022. The Program took place in the compound of the Office of KEJORA Bandar Tenggara and Dewan KEJORA Bandar Tenggara. The opening ceremony was officiated by YB Dato ‘ Sri Dr. Adham bin Baba, Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI) cum Member of Parliament for the Southeast.
In his speech he expressed the intention that, MOSTI’s struggle is to popularize science and humanize technology so that it is closer to the people in urban or rural areas. To address food security issues related to agriculture and animal husbandry, MOSTI also contributes by offering technological solutions for the short, medium and long term. MOSTI has also identified 46 technology solutions and 27 of them are available for immediate implementation which are divided into several clusters namely seeds, bio-fertilizers and booster fertilizers, the use of drones and robotics, testing services and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, aquaculture and animal feed.
Among the programs / activities carried out during these 2 days include briefings from MyBUSRA, Bangkit Usahawan, Socso restorer Program, prudent business financial management, Kongsi Rezeki and business Zakat Fiqh and assistance. In addition, sales booths, healthy entrepreneur programs, Funride and children’s coloring were also opened.
Hopefully this effort can help KEJORA entrepreneurs in promoting their sales as well as gain exposure on programs and collaborations that can be made to increase entrepreneur sales.

The KEJORA Board of Directors meeting was chaired by Johor Menteri Besar cum KEJORA Chairman YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi this morning.
“I hope KEJORA needs to emphasize on the process of rebranding or regeneration of KEJORA to continue to be the main converter or driver of change to all the implementation of KEJORA’s functions and roles and activities in the future. Despite rapid advances in technology and more complex challenges, KEJORA also needs to change KEJORA’s service delivery system. Taking into account the aspirations of Malaysian families and the core and backbone of Johor Maju, KEJORA needs to strategize and build a new landscape for the functions and roles of KEJORA so that this federal statutory body remains a character and a key player in the development of the state of Johor in general and the development of the South East Johor region in particular,” he said.
On July 21 & 22, 2022, KEJORA mentoring entrepreneurs attended the Desamall@KPLB On-boarding Program and the Entrepreneur Digitization Program (PPU) Series 2 held at Setia Spice Convention Center, Bayan Lepas, Penang. This Program was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Che Murad Sayang bin Ramjan, TKSU (D) KPLB.
A total of 30 KEJORA entrepreneurs have been given exposure and guidance to enable their products / services to be marketed on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, eBay and PrestoMall under Desamall@KPLB.
The Rural Entrepreneur Digitization Program was introduced to provide courses or practical training that allows entrepreneurs involved to make business digitization efforts through online business marketing, namely using Maybank QRPay, Foodpanda, Fasspay, Boost and many more.
This effort indirectly helps entrepreneurs to grow their enterprises as well as support KPLB’s aspiration towards the digitization of rural entrepreneurs.

A total of 35 participants attended the first session held at KEJORA Stadium Bandar Penawar.
The Program, which starts at 8.00 am, begins with a warm-up session. All participants were shown the correct method in kicking, passing, pressing as well as good ball control.
This Program is intended to guide and hone the talents of participants in football in the KEJORA region.
Hopefully these children will continue to stay healthy and be able to follow each module that has been provided.
