JOHOR STATE PAVILION OPENING CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH MAHA 2022

The opening ceremony of the Johor State Pavilion in conjunction with #MAHA2022 was held successfully. The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Zahari bin Sarip, Chairman of the Johor State Agriculture, Agro-Based Industry & Rural Development Committee.
In his speech, he stated that the Johor Pavilion was a platform for the manifestation of the development and progress of the Johor state agricultural sector in presenting to the visitors who attended #MAHA2022. The Johor Pavilion was attended by 19 departments and agencies which were translated into 5 sectors, namely the Johor State Agro-Food Policy sector, the crop & commodity sector, the fisheries sector, the agro-tourism sector and the veterinary sector. In addition, there was also the involvement of 14 agro-based industry entrepreneurs (IAT).
In attracting visitors to the Pavilion Johor, KEJORA has been assigned as a visitor attraction Committee. Various demonstrations, competitions, briefings, quizzes and games have been prepared for visitors who will visit the Johor Pavilion. In addition, KEJORA’s subsidiary, KEJORA Agro Sdn Bhd, also joined #MAHA2022 at the Agrobisness Hall in promoting their business and agricultural products.
Also present at the opening ceremony was Yang Berhormat Tuan Mohd Hairi bin Mad Shah, Chairman of the Johor State Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Human Resources Committee. While the general manager of KEJORA is Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus was also present at the inauguration.

KEJORA YOUTH WEEK 2022-DAY THREE

The third day, the excitement of the 2022 KEJORAYouth Week continues with the opening of the career trail until tomorrow. Meanwhile, various side events such as Ready to Work & SPS briefing, KEJORA Entrepreneur Development briefing, Bakti Siswa KEJORA briefing, TVET Talk and roundabout football competition.
In addition, a zapin competition was held for primary & secondary school students. This student’s agility & talent needs to be polished since the school bench again.
Most steal the attention on this day is the performance of the artist in conjunction with the night Akrab KEJORA. On this night featuring Lia Aziz, Zarul Umbrella and Floor 88.
Various agency exhibitions are still open for the public as well as youth to get various information such as education, career, courses and other information.
The food truck & Car boot sale is open until Sunday.

KEJORA YOUTH WEEK 2022-DAY TWO

On the second day, the opening ceremony of the KEJORA Youth Week was officiated by YB Tuan Mohd Hairi bin Mad Shah, Chairman of the Johor State Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives & Human Resources Committee.
There was also a cooking contest, a ‘Natural Glam’ make-up demonstration and a youth spiritual night featuring Rabbani groups was held next night.
Various agency exhibitions are still open for the public as well as youth to get various information such as education, career, courses and other information.
The food truck and car boot sale is still open.

OPENING CEREMONY OF KEJORA YOUTH WEEK 2022

This morning, the opening ceremony of the 2022 morning Youth Week took place. The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Tuan Mohd Hairi bin Mad Shah, Chairman of the Johor State Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Human Resources Committee.
In his opening speech, YB Tuan Mohd Hairi bin Mad Shah invited all agencies whether government agencies or NGOs to jointly help develop youth in the state of Johor. He also congratulated and was proud of KEJORA for organising this programme which would open up career opportunities to rural youth.
In this ceremony, several submissions were presented, among others, the submission of SOCSO youth benefits checks in KEJORA region, the submission of women empowerment incentives in KEJORA region and the submission of certificates of appreciation for the KEJORA region career trail. Prior to that, the arrival of Yang Berhormat EXCO was celebrated with the beating of Chinese drums, kompang hadrah, zapin dance and Indian dance. This time, KEJORA has featured Aqmal Daniel, the Stylo Violinist Malaysia to enliven the opening ceremony.
Also present at the opening ceremony were, Yang Berhormat Tuan Aznan bin Tamin, Tanjung Surat Assemblyman, En. Daud bin Abd Rahman, Deputy General Manager (Development) of KEJORA, En.Mohamad Farhan bin Kasmunee, Chief District Officer of Kota Tinggi, KEJORA Management, heads of departments and agencies, chairman of JPKK Kejora region and youths around Bandar Penawar.

KEJORA YOUTH WEEK 2022-DAY ONE

Starting today, the 2022 KEJORA Youth Week has been running until August 7, 2022.
This first day, there was a STEM Innovation Competition, parachute rocket launch competition, robotics competition with microbit, science storytelling competition, PICKSUM workshop and Duo quatrain competition.
The food truck and car boot sale has also started.

CEREMONY TO CELEBRATE OFFICE SECRETARY WITH KEJORA MANAGER IN 2022

The Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) through the administration and Human Resource Management Division held a ceremony celebrating the secretary of the KEJORA Joint Management Office 2022 at the Amansari Desaru Hotel on August 4, 2022. There was also a talk entitled Aura Komunikasi Dalam Meningkatkan Karisma Sekretaris Kantor which was delivered by the Chief Psychology Officer of the Ministry of Rural Development, Puan Zulaiha Binti Aman. The ceremony was also held to give appreciation and strengthen the relationship between the Office Secretary and the management of the KEJORA.

KEJORA MENTORING TOT WORKSHOP 2022

The Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) through the administration and Human Resource Management Division conducted the KEJORA mentoring TOT Workshop at Hotel Amansari Desaru on 3 and 4 August 2022. The mentoring TOT Workshop was conducted by Puan Zulaiha Binti Aman as Chief Psychology Officer of the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) involving 30 members of the KEJORA. The mentoring workshop was conducted with the aim of providing exposure to new members to get valuable guidance and experience through interaction, knowledge,skills and build a career with mentors. In addition, it can also increase motivation towards career advancement as well as improve positive working relationships.

MONTHLY ASSEMBLY OF THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (KPLB) FOR JULY 2022

Today, the monthly assembly of the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) for July 2022 took place at the Dewan KEJORA Bandar Penawar. The ceremony was officiated by YB. Dato ‘ Sri Mahdzir bin Khalid, Minister of Rural Development.
Also present was YB Dato’ Sri Haji Abd. Rahman Bin Hj Mohamad, Deputy Minister Of Rural Development 1, YBhg. Dato ‘ Ramlan bin Harun, Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural Development, YBhg Datuk Che Murad Sayang Bin Ramjan, Deputy Secretary General (Policy), YBrs. Tuan Mas Rizal Bin Mohd Hilmi, Deputy Secretary General (Development), YBrs. Mr. Mohd Kamal Bin Husin, Senior Division Secretary (Management Services), heads of KPLB agencies, SUB KPLB, heads of Johor state KPLB agencies, state PKN directors, KEJORA Management and members of KEJORA.
In YB Dato’ Seri Menteri KPLB’s speech, he called on all KPLB members to maintain the momentum of success and to be improved with enthusiasm and commitment to help develop rural areas in accordance with KPLB’s tagline, rural Sejahtera. Challenges certainly come in many forms. I believe KPLB is able to cope with everything. It may be a small idea, but it can have a big impact on the target audience.
In the meantime, the launch of the ePRO version 3.0 system (KEJORA online procurement system/ Electronic PROcument Ready Online) launched by YB Dato’seri Minister of KPLB and this system will begin to be used on August 1, 2022. In addition, the 2022 KPLB Inter-Sector sports carnival was launched with 4 main groups divided by theme and group names such as Megat Panji Alam, Mat Kilau, Rentap and Tok Janggar.

KEJORA RECEIVES DELEGATION VISIT FROM SEPANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

Today, KEJORA received a friendly visit from the delegation of Sepang Municipal Council. The ceremony began with a welcome speech by YBrs. En Daud bin Abd Rahman, Deputy General Manager (Development). Meanwhile, Tn Hj Wan Mohd Ashril Aizal Bin Wan Abdullah, finance manager, gave a briefing on the KEJORA ePRO system.
YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj. Abdul Hamid bin Hussain, YDP Sepang Municipal Council in his reply expressed his gratitude and congratulations to KEJORA for successfully developing an excellent system. He also praised the system because it was developed internally by KEJORA.
The next delegation of the Sepang Municipal Council was brought to visit the Tanjung Balau fisherman Museum and given a briefing on the fisherman Museum.
Hopefully this cooperation will remain and become a catalyst to form other strategic collaborations after this.

ROBOTVET CARNIVAL 2022

On this day, YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi Bin Mohd Darus, General Manager of KEJORA was invited to the Opening Ceremony of the RoboTVET Carnival 2022 at the Kota Tinggi Science School, Bandar Penawar. The opening ceremony was officiated by YB Norliza binti Noh, Chairman of the Johor State Education, Information & Communication Committee.
RoboTVET Carnival is held to demonstrate the ability of students in creating robots and provide encouragement to other students to learn and think outside the box.
In this event, the KEJORA was given souvenirs for KEJORA’s efforts to assist students in entering several competitions either locally or abroad. Congratulations SAKTI & KEJORA on this strategic collaboration.
