TVET @ KPLB EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS EXPO 2022

From the lens of the morning, the opening ceremony of the TVET@KPLB educational institution Expo 2022 was officiated by the Minister of Rural Development, YB Dato’ Seri Mahdzir Khalid at Dataran Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani, Kedah.
Also present were Deputy Minister II of KPLB, Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Secretary General of KPLB (policy), Datuk Che Murad Sayang Ramjan and Deputy Secretary General of KPLB (development), Mas Rizal Mohd Hilmi.
TVET@KPLB educational institutions Expo 2022 took place from 23 to 25 June 2022.

PRESENTATION OF LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO YBHG. DATO ‘ HAJI CHE ZAKARIA BIN MOHD SALLEH

June 22, 2022, PASIR GUDANG – award letter submission session to YBhg. Dato ‘ Haji Che Zakaria bin Mohd Salleh was held on 22 June 2022 (Tuesday) at his office in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
The handover session was attended by Puan Marlina binti Amir (Deputy General Manager (Management)), Encik Mohd Ashek bin Mohd Hassan (administrative and Human Resource Management Manager), Encik Sh Khayulzahri bin Sh A. Raof (Social Development and Rural Development Manager) and Encik Noorsaifulizuan bin Nordin (Senior Assistant Manager).
On this occasion, the management and all citizens of KEJORA would like to express their highest appreciation and gratitude to YBhg. Dato ‘ Haji Che Zakaria bin Mohd Salleh for all his services and contributions during his tenure as chairman of the KEJORA Board of Directors starting from 01 May 2020 until 30 April 2022.
The management and all citizens of KEJORA also pray to Hadrat Allah SWT hopefully YBhg. Dato ‘ Haji Che Zakaria bin Mohd Salleh has always been under his protection and mercy.

CREATIVE VIDEO COMPETITION JUDGING SESSION

20 June 2022, Bandar Penawar – today there was a judging session of the@pengisahan KEJORA creative video competition where a judging Panel led by Mr. Muamar Hadi bin Nasiri, Assistant Electrical Engineer, Facility Management Unit took place. Also refereeing for the competition were Puan Norzie binti Mohd Jani, Assistant Director 1, National Archives of Malaysia Johor state, Datin Siti Azni binti Zakaria, Information Technology Officer and Encik Muhammad Ariff bin Suhaimy, Information Technology Officer, Information Technology Division. A total of 7 entries were received with various genres.
For information, this creative video competition starts from 27 March to 27 May 2022 in conjunction with the 50th golden jubilee celebration of the establishment of the Southeast Johor Development Authority.

FINANCE SEMINAR PROGRAMME WITH BANK MUAMALAT MALAYSIA BERHAD

On 21 June 2022, the Investment Unit organized a healthy Finance Seminar Programme with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad at the main lobby, KEJORA headquarters.
This Seminar is aimed at providing exposure to participants on the method of managing self-finance efficiently and more managed. In addition, it can also expose current banking issues such as fraud issues so that we as a public are always aware of the current situation.
Regional Manager (Consumer financing) of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad Johor Bahru Branch Encik Mohd Noor Ezzuan Bin Mohd Nasir was present with 4 officers and was attended by KEJORA Investment Unit. Hopefully the implementation of this seminar can open the mind and provide useful knowledge to all participants. Congratulations and well done!

OPENING CEREMONY OF THE RETURN TO NATURE PROGRAM

Bukit Jalil, 19 June 2022 – the Back to Nature programme organised by the Malaysian creative tailoring Arts Association (PSJKM) was held to foster the use of natural resources from plants in the production of products, fabrics and design patterns, thus reducing the use of synthetic dyes in the industry as well as educating the public to be friendly with nature as well as producing entrepreneurs who are skilled in producing eco-friendly products.
The programme was officiated by KDYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj. As a sign of support for the initiative, the South East Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) through the economic and entrepreneur Unit represented by Encik Mohd Fakharur Razziy bin Hazran, head of the economic and entrepreneur Unit was also present to support the programme.
The aim of the programme is to produce 500 entrepreneurs who are skilled in producing Natural Dye and Eco Printing products involving the target group comprising housewives, single mothers, disabled, youth, orang asli and asnaf. The programme will run for 7 days from 20 to 26 June 2022 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

KEJORA TO THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA 2022

At this, KEJORA through Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum has joined the National International Museum Day celebration 2022 held at The Heritage Square, Sultan Muhammed IV Stadium, Kota Bahru, Kelantan.
The ceremony was officiated by YAB Dato’ Bentara Kanan UST. Dato’ Hj. Ahmad Bin Yaakob, Chief Minister of Kelantan. Also present were YB Dato ‘ Exco of unity of Society, Culture, Heritage & Tourism of the state of Kelantan, YBhg. Mr. Norazman Bin Othman,TKSU (management) MOTAC and other invited DIF-DIF.
YAB Dato ‘Menteri Besar of Kelantan was briefed on’ The Amazing Lukah ‘ and saw the art of lukah built by KEJORA.
For information, the National International Museum Day celebration in 2022 is held from 16 to 26 June 2022.

COURSE ON MAKING DONUTS AND ROTI CANAI

17 June 2022 (Friday) / KEJORA through the economic and entrepreneur Unit held a course on making donuts and Roti Canai at the Donut workshop, Panchor, Muar, Johor.
The programme was officiated by Mr Mohd Fakharur Razziy bin Hazran, head of economic and entrepreneur unit, KEJORA. Also participated en Mohd Muzammir Bin Omar, headman of Mukim Jorak, Panchor, Muar and Mohd Khalid Bin Mohammad, head of Kg Melayu / Sri Tanjung.
In line with the agenda of the Ministry of Rural Development & the aspirations of the rural people, this program is a starting point towards producing entrepreneurs who are able to transform rural areas by providing more job opportunities and economic activities as well as encouraging the younger generation to return to rural service under the integrated village economic development project (Prospekt).
A total of 20 entrepreneurs were given exposure on techniques and styles to produce the best dough

LAWATAN PENANDA ARAS DAN KHIDMAT NASIHAT MENGENAI PELAKSANAAN PELAN PENGGANTIAN (SECCESSION PLAN)

ihak KEJORA telah mengadakan Lawatan Penanda Aras dan Khidmat Nasihat Mengenai Pelaksanaan Pelan Penggantian (Succession Plan) ke Ibu Pejabat Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) pada 13 Jun 2022, Isnin.
Lawatan ini di ketuai oleh Puan Marlina binti Amir, Timbalan Pengurus Besar (Pengurusan) KEJORA dan turut serta Encik Mohd Ashek bin Mohd Hassan, Pengurus Pentadbiran dan Pengurusan Sumber Manusia.
Encik Mohd Salleh bin Abdullah, Pengarah Bahagian Sumber Manusia, MARA telah menyambut baik hasrat KEJORA dan berkongsi tentang pelaksanaan Pelan Penggantian MARA 2022-2026.
Diharapkan dengan perkongsian ini dapat menjadi panduan kepada KEJORA dalam usaha menyediakan Pelan Penggantian serta menjalinkan kerjasama erat bersama pihak MARA dimasa akan datang.

MESYUARAT PEMANTAUAN PROJEK PEMBANGUNAN BIL. 4 TAHUN 2022

Mesyuarat Pemantauan Projek Pembangunan KEJORA Bil. 4 Tahun 2022 telah diadakan pada hari ini di Bilik Mesyuarat LBJT Bandar Tenggara. Mesyuarat telah dipengerusikan oleh Dato’ Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus, Pengurus Besar KEJORA dengan kehadiran Pengurusan Kanan serta Pengurus-Pengurus Bahagian dan Ketua-Ketua Unit.
Sehingga 31 Mei 2022, KEJORA telah membelanjakan sebanyak RM15.30juta dari jumlah keseluruhan peruntukan berjumlah RM37.60juta atau bersamaan 40.71%. Kos keseluruhan ini meliputi 19 projek yang dipecahkan kepada 56 sub-projek yang mana 33 projek fizikal serta 23 projek bukan fizikal.
Seterusnya, semua ahli mesyuarat telah melakukan pemantauan projek yang merangkumi:-
1. PEMBANGUNAN PERUMAHAN KAMPUNG TERSUSUN KAMPUNG PAYA
Pemantauan dilakukan bagi melihat sendiri projek Perumahan Kampung Tersusun Kg. Paya yang dibangunkan oleh KEJORA Land Development Sdn Bhd. Projek ini merangkumi pembangunan sebanyak 132 unit rumah termasuk 7 unit kedai mampu milik. Ketika ini, kontraktor penyelamat dalam proses menyiapkan projek ini dimana projek ini dijangka akan siap pada April 2023.
2. PROGRAM DESA LESTARI
Program Desa Lestari KPLB bagi tanaman halia & cili telah diusahakan oleh Koperasi Ladang Melayu Layang-Layang Kluang Berhad, Kampung SC Jaya Sepakat, Kluang Johor. Ketika ini, sebanyak 1000 pokok halia & 1000 pokok cili telah ditanam. KEJORA sebagai agensi pelaksana perlu memastikan projek ini berjaya serta mengikut kepada perancangan yang telah ditetapkan.
