WORKING VISIT OF YB DATUK HAJAH RUBIAH BINTI HAJI WANG, DEPUTY MINISTER OF RURAL & REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT (KKDW) TO KEJORA

On 16 to 17 January 2023, YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, Deputy Minister of Rural & Regional Development (KKDW) paid a working visit to KEJORA.
The working visit session began with a briefing on the development of KEJORA by the general manager of KEJORA, Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus to all delegations. This briefing covers the overall achievement of the morning, function, vision, mission and direction of the morning.
Subsequently, YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah bin Haji Wang met with all KEJORA members including the heads of the Johor state KKDW agencies in the KEJORA monthly mandate & Assembly ceremony. In his speech, YB Datuk Deputy Minister expressed his excitement for a visit to KEJORA. He added that KEJORA had successfully developed the Southeast Johor region with all the equipment and infrastructure including tourism, agriculture, economy and people’s personality development.
In this event, the Deputy Minister also presented contributions to 8 students of the KEJORA Bakti Siswa Program, 5 recipients of the KEJORA Business Capital Assistance Scheme (SBMN) and 5 recipients of the KEJORA Agricultural Economic Financing Scheme (SPEP) Program.
During this first visit, all delegations were taken to several places such as:-

YB Deputy Minister was briefed at each location of the visit. The purpose of this visit was to get a real picture of the development of several KEJORA projects, especially the development of affordable housing and other developments.
Participating in the working visit was the Secretary of the coordination & monitoring division of KKDW, Dato’afandi bin Nordin, director of PKN Johor, En. Khairudin bin Abdullah, representative of Kkdw Land & Regional SUB Division, KEJORA senior management and other kkdw delegations.

VISIT TO THE ISLAND OF TANJUNG SURAT, KOTA TINGGI THE PROGRAM “KEMBARA KEJORA-UNVEILS ITS WONDERS 2023”

On January 13, 2023, the KEJORA Tourism Division received a visit from the Tourism Malaysia Southern Region delegation for an initial review of the KEJORA Adventure program-Unveils its Wonder 2023.
Director of Tourism Malaysia Southern Region, Mr. Muhamad Nasir Pahmi was present with several officials to explore and see the locations that will be visited by media practitioners later.
Congratulations to the tourism division of KEJORA which has started to promote rural tourism of KEJORA region.

KKDW CHAT WITH THE MEDIA

Casual chat session Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of rural and Regional Development, YAB Dato ‘ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi with the media took place this evening at Atmospere 360, Menara Kuala Lumpur.
This casual chat session was held as a tribute to the media who always provide solid support without getting tired, especially in publicizing programs and initiatives related to development and efforts to boost rural progress.
Also present in the programme was the Deputy Minister of rural and Regional Development, YB Datuk Hjh. Rubiah binti Hj. Wang, Secretary General of KKDW, YBhg. Dato ‘ Sri Ramlan bin Harun and senior management of KKDW. KEJORA general manager, YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus participated in this program.

SUBMISSION OF ONE (1) UNIT OF LIVESTOCK FEED PELLET MACHINE UNDER THE AGRICULTURAL ECONOMIC FINANCING SCHEME (SPEP) SERIES 2 YEAR 2022 PROGRAMME

9 January 2023-KEJORA today handed over one (1) pellet machine unit to Koperasi Wawasan Tuan Seh Tanjung Sedili Kota Tinggi Berhad (KOTS) for a goat farming project in Kampung Tuan Seh, Sedili, Kota Tinggi, Johor.
This collection has been completed by Mr. David bin Abd. Rahman, Deputy General Manager (Development) KEJORA to Mr. Dani bin Md Yusof, Chairman of the cooperative vision Tuan Seh Tg. Sedili Kota Tinggi Berhad (KOTS). Also present were Ms. Siti Fazueri Binti Radzali, manager of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, Cooperative Board members as well as KEJORA officers.
With an allocation of RM18,850.00 for the purchase of machinery, the implementation of the SPEP program is aimed at helping agro-entrepreneurs in the KEJORA region implement existing, small-scale and consistent agricultural projects that have the potential to be developed for the purpose of better and large-scale agricultural production.
Hopefully, this SPEP program will be the reason, the goat farming company operated by KOTS will continue to prosper!!

SETULUS BUDI SERUMPUN KASIH CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION

Monday-2 January 2023-today, the Setulus Budi Serumpun Kasih ceremony was held in conjunction with the KEJORA Golden Jubilee Celebration at Lotus Ballroom Desaru.
General manager of KEJORA, YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj. Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus in his speech stated that all KEJORA members should work in teamwork and not in silos. He added that KEJORA has now entered the KEJORA 2.0 era with several things that need to be seen in detail including the digitalization of the KEJORA Region, Integrated Tourism, the target of 50 entrepreneurs to achieve sales of RM1 million per year, housing & infrastructure construction, high-tech agriculture and the development of superior rural human capital in line with KEJORA’s 50-year slogan, which is the Core Development Leader.
This ceremony was held to give appreciation to all KEJORA members who have worked hard in the success of the previous KEJORA Golden Jubilee Celebration Carnival.

PROGRAM MAJESTIC JOHOR CLEAN, PANTAI TANJUNG BULOH, DAERAH KOTA TINGGI, JOHOR

Sunday-1 January 2023-today the Kota Tinggi district-level Majestic Johor Clean Program took place at Tanjung Buloh Beach, Sedili Kechil, Kota Tinggi, Johor.
The opening ceremony was officiated by YB Miss. Norlizah binti Noh, Chairman of the Johor State Education, Information and Communication Committee. Also present at the programme were YB Datin Paduka Hajah Hazlina binti Jalil, Kota Tinggi District Officer, members of the Kota Tinggi District Legislative Assembly, YDP Kota Tinggi District Council, YDP Pengerang Municipal Council, heads of Kota Tinggi district departments and many more.
The Majestic Johor Clean programme is an initiative by Tourism Johor to ensure that tourist attractions are in a clean condition while promoting tourism areas in Johor. In line with this program, Tanjung Buloh Beach is reopened to the public starting today.
KEJORA also participated in cleaning up the Tanjung Buloh Beach area.

PHOTO HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BENCHMARK VISIT TO THE PUBLIC SECTOR DATA CENTRE (PDSA), PUTRAJAYA, THE PRIME MINISTER’S DEPARTMENT DATA CENTRE AND HUAWEI MALAYSIA

The Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) through its Information Technology Division held a benchmarking visit to the Putrajaya Public Sector Data Centre (PDSA), the Prime Minister’s Department Data centre and Huawei Technology Malaysia on the 27th. December 2022.
The visit led by Tuan Haji Matriffin bin Md. Amin as Information Technology Manager cum ICT Security Officer (ICTSO) and 11 other officers aimed to get ideas and views on the current technology sharing for data center management and see ‘smart rack server’ technology as a strategic improvement of data center and KEJORA Network.
KEJORA would like to express its highest appreciation and gratitude to The Information Technology Division of the Prime Minister’s Department led by Mr. Padzal bin Ahmad, Division Secretary, Public Sector Data Center (PDSA) led by Mrs. Wahidah binti Mohamed, Chief Assistant Director of ICT infrastructure and security and Huawei Technology Malaysia for the briefing and technology sharing provided.

KEJORA OUTDOOR MOTOCROSS CHALLENGE MALAYSIA MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 (FINAL ROUND)

KEJORA in collaboration with TQMX Motorcycle Club has held the KEJORA Outdoor Motocross Challenge Malaysia Motocross Championship 2022 (final round) from 24 to 25 December 2022 at the Bandar Tenggara Motocross circuit, Kota Tinggi, Johor.
A total of 120 participants with 10 participants from Singapore participated in the 10 categories contested.
Congratulations to all the winners who won in each category. Congratulations also to all the Secretariat who are equally working to ensure the smooth running of this motocross Championship.

KEJORA REGION ORPHAN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

KEJORA has held the KEJORA region Orphan Empowerment Program from 19 to 21 December 2022 at the Permata Resort Camp, Alor Gajah, Melaka in collaboration with the Southeast Johor region Al Husna Welfare Foundation and the Southeast City Yatin Islam children’s Welfare Organization.
The Program was attended by 60 orphans around the KEJORA region. This Program includes 2 components, namely Seminar and motivation Program at Permata Resort Camp, Melaka and study visit to 4 places around Melaka, namely Al Falak Khwarizmi complex, Submarine Museum, Melaka Strait Mosque and the Shore Sky Tower.
All orphan participants were given emphasis on the development of identity and new knowledge such as archery training, crossing obstacles, and knowledge related to astronomy.
Hopefully the knowledge and knowledge gained by all participants can be adapted well in KEJORA’s efforts to ensure the ability of orphans as a being in the KEJORA region as well as catalyzing the development of human capital in the KEJORA region.
