BENCHMARKING VISIT AND NETWORKING SESSION OF THE SOUTHEAST JOHOR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (KEJORA) TO THE ASSET MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT MALAYSIA KUALA LUMPUR (JKR)

KEJORA conducted a benchmarking visit to the Integrated Asset Planning Branch, JKR Kuala Lumpur headquarters on 21 December 2022.
The visit was led by Deputy General Manager (Management), Pn. Marlina binti Amir and 7 other officers.While the JKR was led by the director of Asset Management Consultancy, Ir En. Mohamad Darus bin Selamat and his division members.
JKR gave a briefing on the management of government immovable assets. KEJORA would like to thank JKR for the briefing and hope that JKR can assist KEJORA in managing KEJORA’s immovable assets

IMMOVABLE ASSET MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE COURSE (TPATA)

Alhamdulillah, KEJORA through the property division and DINARA TRAINING & CONSULTANCY for the first time organized the Immovable Asset Management (TPATA) procedure course starting from 18 to 20 December 2022 at Hotel Royal, Kuala Lumpur.
This course aims to understand the roles and responsibilities in the governance of Immovable Asset Management (TPATA) as well as provide more accurate and strategic reporting management of immovable assets.
A total of 21 participants attended the course for 3 days 2 nights which was also attended by Deputy General Manager (Management) Pn Marlina binti Amir, Property Manager, Ms. Haslinda binti Abu Bakar, head of Facilities Management Unit, Mr. Marlin binti Amir. Norazmi bin Sahar, head of Internal Audit Unit, En. Mohd Rizal bin Hidzir and officers who manage KEJORA’s immovable assets.
KEJORA management expresses its appreciation and gratitude to the participants who were directly involved in the success of this course.
Hopefully, by organizing this course, participants can improve the quality of work and services to further empower KEJORA’s Immovable Asset Management.

KEJORA CONCERNED VISIT TO STORM VICTIMS IN KAMPUNG BARU SUNGAI LAYAU, KOTA TINGGI

17 December 2022 (Saturday), Kg. New Sg. Layau, Kota Tinggi-Mr Noorsaifulizuan Nordin, Senior Assistant Manager with Mr Muhammad Amsyar Mohd Ariffin, Assistant Engineer as the driving force JPKK Kg. Tg. Buai representing KEJORA management has visited the homes of storm victims here.
During the storm, the House of the victim Puan Putrialisa binti Tokiman suffered ceiling damage, especially on the front porch of the House.
The visit was also accompanied by Encik Zaidin Mohd Noor, Chairman of JPKK Kg. Tg. Buai & Encik Zaidi bin Lazim, the donation in the form of basket Prihatin KEJORA was handed over to the victim’s representative, Mrs. Ramlah Mahmood, who was the mother of the victim.
May all the affairs of the victim and his family be facilitated by him.

TALENT & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (TALENT) PROGRAMME 2022

The Kejora Soccer Kids Development Program is one of the programs under the 2022 talent and Leadership Development (aptitude) Program. This Program aims to identify participants in the KEJORA region who have the potential and talent to be developed through programs
organized by the KEJORA to a higher level.
The Kejora Soccer Kids Development (KSKD) Program was first implemented starting in early September 2022 at the SSTMI Juara Stadium, Bandar Penawar with 16 training sessions involving a total of 30 coaches consisting of 15 under-9 coaches and 15 under-12 coaches.
To see the potential of all coaches today 17.12.2022 (Saturday) there was a 4 Corners Football Competition under the Kejora Regional Football Club Development Program. Kejora has invited 3 teams namely Baka FC (Bandar Penawar), Santai FC (Kota Tinggi) and Fetto FC (Melaka) to participate in the inaugural competition.
Congratulations to all the teams who have shown a good sense of sportsmanship and tactical play. Hopefully, this program can be continued to ensure that the success of trainers can be achieved.

MINISTRY OF RURAL & REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT (KKDW) INNOVATION DAY CELEBRATION 2022

KEJORA participated in the KKDW Innovation Day exhibition today at Dewan Lestari, Level B1, Ministry of rural and Regional Development. Two (2) projects namely Electronic Procurement Ready Online – (ePRO3.0) from the Finance Division and Progress system from the Technical Unit participated in the KKDW 2022 quality and Innovation Award competition for the category of Public Service Innovation Award (Management).
Alhamdulilah, KEJORA has won the second place for the Electronic Procurement Ready Online – (ePRO3.0) project. The prize was presented by YBhg. Dato ‘Sri Ramlan bin Dato’ Harun as Secretary General of KKDW to the general manager of KEJORA, YBhg. Dato ‘ Hj Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus. Also present were Puan Marlina binti Amir, Deputy General Manager (management) of KEJORA and Encik Mohd Ashek bin Mohd Hassan, manager of Administration and Human Resource Management Division.
Congratulations and well done to the winners of the 2022 KKDW quality and Innovation Award Competition. Hopefully this achievement and success will continue to inspire KEJORA citizens in cultivating innovative and creative.

KEJORA’S CARING VISIT TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN TAMAN DESARU UTAMA, BANDAR PENAWAR

December 14, 2022 (Wednesday), Taman Desaru Utama, Bandar Penawar – KEJORA represented by Mrs. Marlina binti Amir, Deputy General Manager (Management), paid a caring visit to 22 KEJORA members who had been hit by floods earlier this morning. On the same occasion, he represented the KEJORA Management and delivered the KEJORA Food Basket assistance to all KEJORA members involved.
In addition, she was accompanied by Ms Haslinda binti Abu Bakar, property manager and Mr Noorsaifulizuan bin Nordin, Senior Assistant Manager as well as several morning flood volunteers who visited the temporary evacuation centre (PPS) at Dewan Muafakat Taman Desaru Utama.
During the visit, a total of 18 units of KEJORA food baskets were handed over to Encik Fizwan bin Dato’ Haji Mohd Rashidi, YDP Pengerang Municipal Council (MPP) as the management of PPS at Dewan Muafakat Taman Desaru Utama to be handed over to the flood victims stationed at the PPS.
The board of directors, the management and all members of KEJORA pray that the affairs of all flood victims will be facilitated by him. May all victims and their families continue to be steadfast in the face of these allegations.

KEJORA RECEIVES UTM STUDENT VISIT

On 13 December 2022, KEJORA received a final year graduate study visit from Bachelor of Land Administration & Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
The briefing related to KEJORA was delivered by the head of Corporate Communication Unit, En. Mohamad Azrul bin Shari. While the Fishermen Museum briefing was delivered by Assistant Curator, En. Muhd Iqbal bin Rosli. In addition, a briefing related to the Time Tunnel was delivered by the Senior Town & Country Planning Officer, En. Yusrihan bin Jusak.
The UTM visit was led by UTM Senior Lecturer, Dr Wan Ibrisam Fikri and 30 students were taken on a tour around the fisherman Museum and Tanjung Balau Boardwalk.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, a briefing from Kejora Development Holding was held at Teratak Penawar.
Hopefully with this visit, it can provide some knowledge related to land development planning in rural areas, especially in the KEJORA region.
