KEJORA CONCERN VISIT TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN KEJORA REGION

26 January 2023 (Thursday), Kota Tinggi – KEJORA today handed over a total of 38 Flood Relief Kits in the KEJORA region which includes the Kota Tinggi District.
Head Of Corporate Communications, Mr. Mohamad Azrul bin Hj Shari has represented KEJORA management to deliver Flood Relief Kits to:-
1. 13 families of Kg. Inside and out – PS. Keb. Semanggar, Kg. Semanggar
2. 25 families from Kg Gembut, Sedili-PPS Dewan Sek Keb Kg. Gembut, Sedili
In addition, KEJORA movers were also present to visit the temporary evacuation centre (PPS) and help smooth the distribution process.
Members of the Board of Directors, Management and all members of KEJORA pray that the affairs of all flood victims are facilitated by him. I hope all of you and your family continue to be strong in the face of this tragedy.

25 January 2023 (Wednesday), the KEJORA – KEJORA region today has donated 115 flood relief kits within the KEJORA region which includes Kota Tinggi District and Kluang District.
For Kota Tinggi District, Manager Of Administration & Human Resource Management, Mr. Mohd Ashek bin Hassan has represented KEJORA management to deliver Flood Relief Kits to:-
1. 1 family of Kg. Tg. Serindit-PPS Board Kg. Muhibbah, Tg. Serindit
2. 3 family from Kg Gembut, Sedili-PPS Dewan Sek Keb Kg. Gembut, Sedili
3. 44 family of Kg. Junction, Sedili – PPS Sek Keb Kg. Teluk Intan Lesung, Sedili
As for the Kluang district, the manager of Social Development and Rural Development, En. Mr. Sh. Khayulzahri bin Sh A. Raof has represented KEJORA management to deliver Flood Relief Kits to:-
1. 2 family of Kg. Stone 4, Paloh, Kluang-PPS Balairaya Kg. Batu 4, Paloh, Kluang
2. 2 family of Kg. Sri Lalang, Batu 6, Kluang-PPS Board Kg. Sri Lalang, Batu 6, Kluang
3. 63 families of Kg. A good example is the K – men’s basketball team. Kahang Examples

KEJORA DISASTER VOLUNTEERS ACTIVATED

25 January 2023-Bandar Penawar-the KEJORA Disaster Volunteer Team has been activated to jointly clean several houses of KEJORA members affected by the floods.
Today, at least 10 team members helped clean the KEJORA house in Taman Desaru Utama which was affected by the floods that occurred yesterday.
Congratulations and thanks to the KEJORA Disaster Volunteer Team who always provide the best service in an effort to ease the burden of those in need, as a result of the flood disaster that occurred.

KEJORA SANTUN FLOOD VICTIMS

24 January 2023-following heavy rainfall in Bandar Penawar since this morning, several areas in Bandar Penawar have been flooded. As the agency responsible for assisting the flood victims, KEJORA has donated 130 flood relief kits that include food items, cooking utensils, blankets and health care kits to all household heads involved.
Hopefully with this donation will ease the burden of flood victims and KEJORA pray for all victims to be patient in facing this test.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITY BEACH HYGIENE

For information on Tanjung Balau beach visitors, the Southeast Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) & Pengerang Municipal Council (MPP) have provided 60 units of garbage cans around the area that is the focus of Tanjung Balau beach visitors. This covered trash can is placed in a picnic location with a radius of approximately 50 meters to make it easier for the public to dispose of garbage in the space provided.
KEJORA hopes that visitors are also responsible for throwing garbage into the trash can that has been prepared.
It is advisable that the garbage is packed and tied in plastic neatly so that it is not easily dismantled by wild animals.
Cleanliness is a shared responsibility. It is part of our faith, and part of our faithfulness.

WORKING VISIT OF KEJORA ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM WITH GEMBOX

In planning ,managing and implementing rural development in the KEJORA region, activities based on economic development and entrepreneurship become the core and focus of KEJORA management in ensuring that rural and urban economic disparities can be balanced.
On January 19, 2023 (Thursday), a KEJORA working visit session through the economic and entrepreneur Unit with the Gembox was held to see for yourself the opportunities and spaces that can be shared with entrepreneurs registered in the KEJORA region. Gembox @ Nilai is a “Wow Malaysia” project that has become a tourist destination in Negeri Sembilan and a new business marketing platform in Malaysia.The project is a 55-acre bandar wawasan and planned project, of which 25 acres are under the supervision of Mascos Sdn Bhd. Bhd. has built the largest Night Market Centre in Malaysia as well as being the first cashless Tourism Centre in Malaysia that promotes culture, handicraft products, traditional clothing, traditional food & beverage products and many more involving the states in Malaysia.During the visit,KEJORA was also proud to find that their mentoring entrepreneurs had taken the opportunity to do business,expand their business and promote their products in PEMBOX,Nilai Negeri Sembilan.
The delegation from KEJORA was also briefed on the operation of the GEMBOX led by Mr Kevin Tan (deputy general manager of the Gembox) with Mr Edwin Liet (Senior Operation Manager). While the KEJORA party was led by Mr. Daud Bin Abd Rahman (Deputy General Manager, Development) and officers from development management,namely the economic and entrepreneur Unit,Facility Management Unit,Tourism Division,Social Development and Rural Development Division, Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Division and also representatives from the KEJORA traders and Entrepreneurs Association (PuPUK), Mr. Ahmad Salleh Bin Kamar and Mr. Mohd Harizal Bin Khalid. It is hoped that this high potential platform can benefit rural entrepreneurs in the KEJORA region, especially in increasing business networks and promoting products outside the region.

SOUVENIR GIVING SESSION

18 January 2023-souvenir giving session for material contributors for the publication of KEJORA Coffee Table books in conjunction with the KEJORA Golden Jubilee Celebration to Pn. Hjh. Rubiah binti Hj. Sidik (KEJORA song lyricist), Tn. Hj. Ismail bin Hj. Hassan (creator of KEJORA) and Mr. Mokhtar bin Salleh (Operations Assistant from Finance Division). Also awarded were Pn Hjh Normah binti Hussin and Tn Hj Ilias bin Yasin & En. Abdul Karim bin Omar who is a former member of KEJORA.
The award was presented by the head of Internal Audit Unit, En. Mohamad Rizal bin Mohd Hidzir. Also present was Mr. Mohamad Azli Shafii bin Mohd Raub and Fr. Zulaiha binti Abd Kadir from the Audit Unit in KEJORA.

FINAL ACCELERATION SEMINAR SPM SERIES 1 KEJORA REGION 2023

18 January 2023-the Johor Tenggara Development Authority (KEJORA) has conducted the SPM final acceleration Seminar Series 1 of KEJORA region 2023 in collaboration with the Johor State Education Department (JPN Johor) , Kota Tinggi District Education Office, Kluang and Kulai in the Great Hall of Mara Professional College, Bandar Penawar.
This seminar Program is an extension of the Smart@MyGuru 2022 program involving 1000 students with a fraction of 500 Form 5 students from secondary schools and 500 Grade 6 students from primary schools in the KEJORA region consisting of hardcore/ poor and B40 poor.
The Series 1 seminar was conducted with English and history subjects. These students are exposed to the techniques of answering questions as well as effective review modules.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Deputy General Manager (Development) KEJORA, En. Daud bin Abd Rahman. Also present were Encik Noor Azam bin Yusoff; Deputy PPD of Kota Tinggi PPD development sector, Encik Mohd Khairulnisa Bin Nashuri ; SISC + TVET officer of Kulai PPD, Encik Hazawi bin Raya; Assistant Education Officer of Kluang PPD rehabilitation and accompanying teachers at 18 KEJORA regional schools.
Hopefully these students will get excellent results in the 2023 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination.
