KEJORA RECEIVES TRIPZILLA SINGAPORE AUTHOR’S VISIT

The Kejora Tourism Division has supported the visit of Tourism Johor together with Tripzilla Singapore tour writer representatives to Tanjung Surat Island, Kota Tinggi Johor on October 27, 2022.
This visit aims to introduce KEJORA tourism products to participants to be included in tourism articles in Singapore.
Participants were taken along the Pelanduk River while enjoying the beauty of the mangrove wetlands and see the flora and fauna around it. In addition, all participants were also brought to see the species of life that live on this island including King Crab and sea cucumber. KEJORA also thanked Belungkor Venture for the contribution of tour boat rental and tour guide services.
Hopefully this visit and cooperation will be able to increase the popularity of Tanjung Surat Island as well as attract the presence of tourists to KEJORA Regional Tourism Products.

BRIEF BRIEFING SESSION ON STRUCTURED HOUSING PROJECT DEVELOPMENT KG TG BUAI, KOTA TINGGI, JOHOR

There was a brief briefing session on the development of the Kg TG Buai structured housing project which was attended by YB Fauziah binti Misri, bidder Assemblyman, Tuan Syed Ben Bella, Pengerang Special Parliamentary Officer, Puan Haslinda Binti Abu Bakar, KEJORA property manager, Encik Adam Bin Ahmad, Penghulu Mukim Johor Lama, Encik Zaidin Bin Mohd Noor, Chairman of JPKK Kg Tanjung Buai and residents of Kg Tg Buai.
The briefing was delivered by Sr. Muhamad Fazri bin Hashim, Assistant Manager of the property was intended to inform the residents of Kg TG Buai regarding the development of prumahan that is being developed in the Kg TG Buai area specifically for the resettlement of the second generation of villagers.

KEJORA REGIONAL SPORTS CARNIVAL (KASWIRA) 2022

In conjunction with the celebration of National Sports Day, the Southeast Johor Development Authority in collaboration with the Kota Tinggi District Youth and Sports Office and the KEJORA regional JPKK will organize the KEJORA Regional Sports Carnival 2022 on 29 to 30 October 2022 (Saturday-Sunday) at the KEJORA Stadium Bandar Tenggara.
In this edition, four zones in the KEJORA region will compete for the title in ten competitions including football, netball, sepak takraw and various others, of course with good rewards.

MEAT RABBIT BREEDING COURSE UNDER THE PROSPECT PROGRAM 2022

KEJORA through the Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Division in collaboration with the Veterinary Services Department has organized the meat rabbit livestock course 2022 starting from 21 to 23 October 2022 in Batu Pahat, Muar and Segamat Johor.
The programme was officiated by the manager of Agriculture & Agro-Based Industry, Ms Siti Fazueri binti Radzali. A total of at least 15 participants consisting of residents of Kampung Mukim Jorak Panchor, Muar have participated in this course.
This course aims to provide exposure and increase knowledge about methods of animal husbandry and management of meat rabbits. In addition, participants will also be able to apply the knowledge gained in handling rabbit farming projects under the KPLB prospect Program through the best methods and high quality meat quality to obtain maximum returns and profitable.
In this course, all participants were given direct exposure in theory as well as a visit to the project settler Development Program (PPP) Felda Sri Ledang & Felda Sri Jaya including Shah Agrofarm – Kg project. Liang Batu, Lenga Muar.
Hopefully the knowledge gained from this course will be a catalyst for enthusiasm for the residents of Mukim Jorak Panchor village to start and expand the meat rabbit breeding project.

Miss SHOPhia Go Travel

The Kejora Tourism Division has participated in the promotion of KEJORA regional tourism products at the “Miss SHOPhia Go Travel” program which starts from 21 to 23 October 2022 at Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru.
The program organized by Tourism Malaysia aims to revitalize the Malaysian tourism sector, especially in the state of Johor.
Interestingly, Kejora Tourism has featured several “Must Visit” tourism products such as the Tanjung Balau fisherman Museum, Bayu Balau Beach Resort, Kejora Homestay, Tanjung Surat Island and various interesting packages and activities around the KEJORA Regional Tourism Product Area. The response and feedback received from visitors is very positive with encouraging package sales.
Participating in this program is Kejora’s subsidiary, KEJORA Hospitality Sdn Bhd, which both offers accommodation and attractive packages.

KEJORA AGROPELANCONGAN COURSE 2022

Starting from 18 to 20 October 2022, an Agropelancongan course organized by the Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Division, KEJORA was held at the MARDI TG Karang agrotechnology park, Selangor and Selangor Fruit Valley. A total of 25 people involved in the program consisted of villagers under the supervision of KEJORA, KEJORA subsidiaries and agency representatives as facilitators of this course.
The closing ceremony of the 2022 Agropelancongan course, on October 20, 2022, was officiated by En Daud Bin Abd Rahman as Deputy General Manager(Development) of KEJORA.
The 3-day Program aims to provide exposure and brainstorming to further expand the development of existing agropelancongan products and activities in the village under the supervision of KEJORA.
In addition, KEJORA has invited relevant agencies such as the Johor State Department of Agriculture, Tourism Johor and MARDI Serdang, Selangor to give talks on the development of agropelancongan activities undertaken by these agencies. which can be used as an example and reference the KEJORA.

ISMS COMPLIANCE AUDIT ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 KEJORA

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 KEJORA Information Security Management System (ISMS) monitoring Audit was held from 17 to 18 October 2022. The new ePerolehan 3.0 system launched on 1 August 2022 has been audited by a team of auditors from SIRIM QAS Internation Sdn. Bhd.
The opening meeting of the isms monitoring Audit was chaired by the general manager of KEJORA, YBhg. Dato ‘ Haji Mohd Rusdi bin Mohd Darus while the closing meeting of the ISMS monitoring Audit was chaired by the Deputy General Manager (Management), Puan Marlina binti Amir as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of KEJORA.
The scope of certification is Information Security Management System for Electronic Procument Ready Online (ePRO) 3.0 system, Southeast Johor Development Authority.
With the end of this information security management system monitoring Audit session, SIRIM recommends that the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification continue for the next year.

THE KEJORA REGION ENGLISH CAMP PROGRAM

Today, the English Camp Program for SPM candidates took place in the KEJORA region of Kota Tinggi District at Amansari Hotel, Bandar Penawar. The Program which was held for 1 day was held to hone and develop English language skills among students, especially in the KEJORA region.
In addition, participants were also exposed to appear confident in communicating in English. A total of 13 secondary schools are involved in the program.

KEJORA NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2022

Today, the 2022 KEJORA New Member Orientation Program took place at the Mini Auditorium of the Tanjung Balau fisherman Museum which was inaugurated by Puan Marlina binti Amir as Deputy General Manager (management) of KEJORA.
Program participants were given exposure to the roles and functions, regulations and guidelines in relation to the KEJORA to ensure that the duties and responsibilities can be carried out successfully as civil servants and as members of the KEJORA in particular.

MALAYSIAN MERCHANDISE CARNIVAL 2022

In guiding and assisting entrepreneurs in the KEJORA region to continue to rise in the National Economic Scene, KEJORA has helped a total of 14 of its mentored entrepreneurs participate in the Malaysian merchandise Carnival at Plaza Angsana Johor Bahru starting from 14 to 16 October 2022. The Program was organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) involving 120 entrepreneur booths.
The opening ceremony of the Malaysian goods Carnival was officiated by the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
Various interesting activities have been carried out throughout the carnival including Lucky draws for visitors who shop at the festival, performances by local artists and various other interesting activities. This carnival aims to introduce Malaysian-made goods which are comparable to goods from abroad and able to attract people to buy goods made in Malaysia.
KEJORA would like to thank the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) for providing opportunities for KEJORA mentoring entrepreneurs to participate in the Malaysian merchandise Carnival this time.
