KEJORA KE SUKAN PANTAI BADAN BERKANUN (SUPANUN)

Alhamdulillah, KEJORA has participated in the statutory body Beach Games (SUPANUN) 2022 starting from 11 to 16 October 2022 at Pantai Batu 5, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
A total of approximately 32 agencies have participated in 6 events contested. While KEJORA has participated in 3 events namely Beach Soccer (men), Senior Beach Sepak Takraw (Men) and Beach Petanque ( men & women). The beach Sepak Takraw team has emerged runner-up, while the women’s Petanque team has finished in the quarter-finals.
Thanks to the Association of statutory bodies of Malaysia (PBBM) for organising the SUPANUN tournament this year. Congratulations to all the winners.

RE-EVALUATION VISIT AND NEW REGISTRATION OF MALAYSIAN HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AT HOMESTAY KEJORA

The Homestay re-evaluation and new registration session under the supervision of KEJORA by MOTAC, Tourism Malaysia Southern Region, Kota Tinggi Health Office and the Johor state Homestay Association was held on October 12 and 13, 2022.
This visit is intended to renew the Malaysian Homestay experience certificate. This KEJORA region Homestay involves homestays Kg Mawai Baru, Kg Johor Lama and Kg Semak Durian / Sedili Kecil. A total of 34 homestay houses were involved in the assessment session this time.
Hopefully with this assessment, it becomes a part of the presence of visitors/tourists to feel the pleasure of the village perch in the KEJORA region.

CANVA PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR KEJORA REGION YOUTH 2022

We are grateful to the Divine presence because today the KEJORA has successfully implemented the Canva Platform Development Program for KEJORA Regional Youth in 2022 which starts from October 10 to 12, 2022 at The New York Hotel, Johor Bahru.
Among the objectives of this program is to provide opportunities for youth in the KEJORA region to have creativity in producing interesting information as well as mastering the knowledge and skills in mastering the editing process and editing attractive graphics through the Canva application.
The closing ceremony was officiated by the manager of Social Development & Rural Development, Mr. IR. Sh. Khayulzahri bin Sh. A.Raof.
Congratulations to all involved. Hopefully with this knowledge, it will benefit all participants.

WELCOME TO MAULIDUR RASUL KOTA TINGGI DISTRICT LEVEL

KEJORA participated in the procession in conjunction with the celebration of Maulidur Rasul 1444h Kota Tinggi district level.
Deputy General Manager (Development), en Daud bin Abd Rahman led the KEJORA group followed by senior management and members of KEJORA.
With the theme, The Johor family, the catalyst for state development, it is also an aspiration for every development platform, especially development in the KEJORA region.

MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (KPLB) MONITORING VISIT TO KEJORA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Coordination and Monitoring Division, KPLB today had the opportunity to visit several KEJORA development project implementations around Bandar Tenggara, Bandar Petri Jaya and Bandar Penawar, Johor led by Ir. Mohd Ezamudin bin Zulkifli Chan, Chief Assistant Secretary (KPSU) who attended with En. Mohd Hanafi bin Mohd Taib and En. Shah Imran Bin Rosalie, Assistant Secretary (PSU), coordination and Monitoring Division, KPLB.
The monitoring session to the KEJORA development project began with a visit to The Orphanage care and Empowerment Center in Bandar Tenggara and then to the Affordable Housing Project in Bandar Petri Jaya. The series of visits in the afternoon involved monitoring the implementation of the project to upgrade the facilities of Tanjung Balau fisherman’s Chalet in Bandar Penawar.
The KEJORA also gave feedback on the latest status and mitigation plan for the implementation of the project and will continue to be committed in providing the best service to the people.

THE “OUTREACH” SYMPOSIUM OF NATIONAL BESTARI LEVEL PEER MENTORS SOUTH ZONE BOARDING SCHOOL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION MALAYSIA YEAR 2022

The KEJORA Social Development and Rural Development Division (PSPD) has been together in the “Outreach” Symposium of Peer Mentors at the National Bestari level of the South Zone Boarding School of the Ministry of Education Malaysia in 2022 which was held from September 30 to October 3 at Sekolah Menengah Sains Kota Tinggi. The program will also be held in 17 schools in the KEJORA region.
The purpose of this program is to stand out, polish the talents and values of students ‘self-leadership as well as appreciate social relationships, dare and challenge students’ self-ability which ultimately has a positive impact on the construction of the character of the students themselves.
Therefore, in the process of equipping students with knowledge to help friends around them, they need to be given special training and trained in leading skills so that the services they provide are more effective.
With the motto “Minda Sehat, Sekolahku Sejahtera”, the program has involved more than 20 schools in the South Zone. Congratulations KEJORA say to all mentors peer level Bestari National Boarding School South Zone.

KEJORA REGIONAL HOMESTAY ENTREPRENEURS CONTINUE TO BE GUIDED THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION OF THE KEJORA REGIONAL HOMESTAY MENTORING AND COACHING COURSE IN 2022

On September 30 to October 2, 2022, the KEJORA through the Tourism Division organized the Kejora region Homestay Mentoring and Coaching Course (Kg. Mawai Baru and Kg. Johor Lama) in 2022 at the Copthorne Hotel Cameron Highlands.
A total of 14 participants covering 6 Homestay operators Kg. Johor Lama and 8 Homestay operators Kg. New Mawai has been selected to take this course under the guidance of Ellaam Solution Services.
This course which will last for two months emphasizes guidance and tutoring to homestay operators on how to properly manage homestay which includes psychological preparation, SWOT Homestay participants, physical preparation (infrastructure), hands on Sessions, Homestay marketing plan and long-term plans.
The closing ceremony was officiated by Ybrs Deputy General Manager (Development). Encik Daud bin Abd Rahman as the official representative of KEJORA General Manager. Also present was the Tourism Manager, Puan Suraya Hani binti Sharan.
Hopefully with the organization of this course, it is hoped that all participants present can improve the quality of quality in empowering homestay KEJORA region as well as act as travel agents in their respective villages to be more advanced and effective.

BEACH CLEANING DAY PROGRAM

The Johor state National Security Council (MKN) in collaboration with the KEJORA Facility Management Unit (UPF) jointly organized the Beach Clean up day program on October 2, 2022 at Tanjung Balau Beach.
The programme was officiated by Johor State Security Director, Encik Mohd Tarmizi bin Dan. A total of at least 120 participants from various agencies such as KEJORA, BOMBA, Department of information Malaysia, APM, Kejora Hospitality Sdn. Bhd., residents of Tanjung Balau fishing village as well as teachers and students of Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sports School (SSTMI) were involved in the programme.
Aiming at safeguarding, conserving and utilizing existing natural resources as well as maintaining sustainability for Universal well-being, this program also provides awareness of the importance of caring for the environment to the community in general, inculcating noble character, tolerance and consensus in producing quality human beings who are able to contribute to the country. In addition, it also applies good values in the formation of ethical and responsible individuals as well as increasing awareness of social responsibility as well as strengthening relationships among the agencies involved.
Also present were Putrajaya Information Department Assistant Director Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Halim and Johor State Information Department Assistant Director Baniamin bin Abu Bakar who gave a brief on human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
In addition, Tanjung Balau fisherman Museum has been willing to accept all participants involved in this program to enter the museum and take a closer look at all the artifacts in Tanjung Balau fisherman Museum.
Hopefully, this relationship will give a thousand meanings and become a bridge to a more intact strategic relationship. Congratulations all.
