Duties / Roles of the J/K

3.0	ROLE/ JOB SCOPE FOR MEMBERS OF THE PROGRESS AND SECURITY COMMITTEE FOR CITIES OF KEJORA COMMITTEE

	3.1		CHAIRMAN

		i.		To chair the committee coordination and planning meeting two (2) times or once in a month whenever necessary.

		ii.		To chair other meetings relevant to the committee.

		iii.		Fully responsible towards the flow of administration and implementation of programmes organised by committee of the urban level.

		iv.		To monitor committee’s flow in various aspects

		v.		To become the coordinator among residents and KEJORA, and whenever necessary with Government personnel, agencies or other departments such as leaders, KEMAS, Department of Education, Department of Post and others.

		vi.		Responsible to provide views / proposals on urban development.

		vii.		Implement responsibilities based on Chairman’s Code of Ethics as stated below :

				a. INTEGRITY Description: To implement duties in an honest and responsible manner (with accountability), specifically for JKKMB’s importance. b. COMMITTED Description: To provide full commitment on the responsibilities under JKKMB in addition to actual tasks. c. HONEST AND TRANSPARENT Description: Conduct duties with constant honesty, transparency and fairness. d. PROFESSIONAL Description: As a Chairman, is able to implement duties with full delicateness, persistency and seriousness.
